Underweighed scales and vanishing "final" prices are the two most common complaints about local scrap pickup. Here's how we avoid both.
Every pickup executive on our team is registered with the company, carries ID, and uses a calibrated digital scale — not a hanging spring balance that's easy to misread. The number you see on the display is the number your payment is based on, and you're free to check it yourself before agreeing.
We also don't negotiate a lower price once your scrap is already loaded into the vehicle. The rate we quote when we arrive, based on live weight, is the rate you get paid — full stop.
